The Academy of St Martin in the Fields was founded by the now legendary conductor Sir Neville Marriner in 1958. The late Iona Brown plays and conducts the Academy of St.Martin in the Fields in Mozart's Violin Concerto # 5 in A major. The rare, historic recording is still a bit hard to get but can be found with some research. Originally released in 1983. Her recording of K.216 can be found at my other channel; GreatPerformers1 at: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5tNwuvrOt04 This 1980 recording was done in Analog is this; the remastering, however, has a bit more warmth and clarity than the 1983 recording here.
